To ensure that MIDI output devices are updated correctly, you can upload a template .ALS file that contains the device names from your computer.

Create a new ALS file in Ableton Live and change the output device for MIDI track 1 to your Launchpad. Then upload that file here and the same device names can be used in the modified ALS file.

You only need to do this once, the device names will be saved for future use.
